IMPORTANT TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL BOOKING
1. It is best to use a “computer”. Mobile devices do work but they are unpredictable. You cannot plan on when a call will come in. Phones do not multitask the same way a computer does. Thus if you leave the booking incomplete issues “can” arise.
2. Most common issue is leaving the booking page before payment is completed. The system has created a tentative booking for you and when you come back to the page sometimes you cannot find where you left off. This is the mobile device problem. A simple fix is to click “Cart” on the menu bar or drop down menu depending upon which device you have. On a computer a shopping cart symbol is displayed in top corner. This will bring you back to where you were however if a bit of time has elapsed it may be unrecoverable. At that point you must wait for the system to time out and send you a cancellation notice. Upon receiving a cancellation notice you can see the booking has been cancelled as it did not complete. If you tried multiple times it can be confusing as multiple tentative bookings may have been created and multiple cancellations may have been created. You can match them with the “Booking Numbers”. If you have a booking but no corresponding cancellation that is good that means your booking is confirmed.
3. Make sure you have placed “[email protected]” as well as “[email protected]” in your safe sender list. Both of those emails are our official email addresses. We have had issues with Hotmail, outlook, and those type of public email providers Due to Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation. Any email from a business that you did not initiate with a first email will be sent to a spam folder or junk folder. Do check there for any communications from us if you have not placed our email into the safe sender category.
4. If you need to start over due to using a mobile device just be patient. Wait for the cancellation email to occur and time out. Then you may begin again and the time and date you are trying to book will then be released. If you arrived and it was available and it now is not this is 99% the reason for that occurrence. The system only has one spot to sell for each day and time. We only host one party at a time and they are private. No drop in play patrons are found at any of our events. So if you tried to book a spot and it was available when you started but it is now not available it is due to the “product” being in your shopping cart waiting for payment confirmation. Please click cart button at top left on a computer or in the MEnu bar or drop down menu list depending upon which device you are using and that should bring you back to the checkout stage. If the booking is unrecoverable due to to much time having elapsed then th e booking will time out and cancel. It will send the cancellation email to you. No need to contact us as until it times out there is little we can do as well.
5. PayPal. First and foremost you DO NOT need to create a PayPal page. We use PayPal to collect the initial $100 deposit. They simply are our payment processor no different than Moneris or any other payment processor. You can still use a regular credit card to make the deposit and not create a PayPal account. When you arrive at the page it will say Pay with PayPal or right below that option you will see Pay with Credit or Debit. Of course we cannot use debit but credit does work. Do not fill out any details for a PayPal account if you do not wish to register for one or just wish to use Credit. The Credit option is literally on the screen down a line or two.
